It's been 5 years since 195 nations around the world united in Paris, France to sign the Paris Agreement, a truly historic moment in the world's fight against Climate Change.
However, little progress has been made. Under the Trump Administration, the United States withdrew the Paris Agreement in 2017; By 2020, only two countries---Morocco and Gambia---have effectively cut their carbon emissions in line according to the agreement. Many developed countries that are responsible for the majority of emissions did little to change.
Despite the growing fervent voices that fight for a change in our current economy and society, many of them have been ignored. Why do you think that governments are ignoring these voices? What can we do strengthen these voices and amplify their impacts?
